“Hey Annabelle. Is it true you and Iggy broke up?” Nico Alto smiled.
“Yeah, it’s true,” she smiled.
“I always thought you could do a lot better than that guy. Like… me,” he smiled.
“I love how confident he is about himself,” Annabelle instinctively thought.
“Wait, no. Maybe that’s a little too confident. Should I find that attractive?” she second guessed, questioning her life choices.
Before making any rash decisions, she decided to sit down and get to know him more first. “How has your day been?” Nico asked.
“Really great! I’m trying to bring some positive energy into the air and began World United! We’re all about bettering the world through recycling and treating others with kindness.”
He smiled. “So it’s like one of those green clubs?” Annabelle nodded. “Do you want to join?” she asked.
He laughed. “Ha! Annabelle, please. I’m Holly Alto’s son. Do you have any idea the scrutiny I would get if I was picking up trash? I would never lower myself to that level.”
Annabelle smiled awkwardly. Good call choosing not to like egotistical sims, she thought.
As Nico walked off, Annabelle smiled uncomfortably. “I really need to get out of this place,” she thought.
Back in Taratosa, Jarrett was hard at work again.
And all of his hard work seemed to be finally paying off! He was feeling a bit like a genius!
…until his project exploded on him.
He sighed with relief. “That was a close one!”
Inside, Tomi was cuddling Cheesy to sleep.
and daydreaming about having another baby with Jarrett!
Jarrett, however, was becoming too much of a workaholic to make that possible.
The next evening, he arrived home from work with another promotion. “I should be happier about this,” he thought as he yawned from exhaustion.
Inside, Tomi was waiting for Jarrett to feed Cheesy his first food. “I guess Daddy is busy working again,” she smiled.
Outside, Jarrett was already trying to build another robot mechanism. But he was so tired, he hit himself straight in the eye.
Stinkpup barked, trying to alert Tomi to what she already knew: Cheesy was hungry and she would have to do this milestone without Jarrett.
Just as she headed to the highchair, Jarrett came inside. Tomi smiled at him. “You’re here!”
“Of course. I wasn’t going to miss this moment,” he winced trying to avoid showing Tomi is eye.
Cheesy excitedly eyed the spoon.
And took a bite.
“Would you look at that? He loved it, Tomi!”
“That’s my boy!”
Cheesy looked up innocently at his mom, while deciding what to do next.
And just like that, he ripped the food straight out of his mouth and mushed it into his hand.
“I think I may have celebrated that a smidge too early,” Jarrett chuckled.
Tomi laughed. “Just a smidge!”
After the meal, Jarrett sat beside Cheesy on the floor. “I love you my little man,” he said.

I was extremely hopeful that Annabelle would start dating again and find someone better than Ignacio. Unfortunately, as she got to know Nico, I discovered that he was definitely not the right sim for her!
I specifically showed the decision process for Annabelle’s preferences because we are always so quick to either say yes or no to these popups! I wanted to show how much I think through the decisions for my sims based on their personality.
