Who Is…Casey Scott?
Generation 2 (Seasons 2-current)
CAUTION THIS SECTION CONTAINS SPOILERS
Seasons 2-3
Welcome to the World, Casey Scott
Casey Scott is the twin of Carter Scott and was part of the second pair of biological children born to Travis Scott and Hannah McCoy. Casey was born in Season 2, Chapter 26: It’s the Labor That Never Ends. He and his brother were notoriously whiny as babies, never giving their parents a moment of rest.
In Chapter 28, the twins became toddlers and started potty training together. As toddlers, Casey and his brother Carter were very close. Often being confused with his brother during the toddler years, Casey was often not referred to by name.
Even as a toddler, Casey would walk around cool and calm, observing everyone around him.
Season 4
Childhood and Bonding with Caiden
In Season 4, Chapter 47, Casey and Carter celebrate their birthday and become children. Casey gained the self assured trait and loved using his confidence and charm to coast by. He tried teaching his mom, Hannah, how to play video games but she couldn’t quite figure it out. Besides video games, Casey felt that he was a bit too cool for everything else.
When the family went on vacation to Mt. Komerebi in Chapter 56, Casey was thrilled to hit the slopes and ski for the first time. His over confidence led to him wiping out and he was upset to not be perfect his first time out.
His brother Caiden, however, made sure to comfort him and tell him to just have fun.
While playing void critters together at the arcade, Casey was upset when he lost the battle against Caiden. He didn’t like to loose and let out a cry in frustration. Even so, Casey and Caiden still bonded immensely throughout the trip and decided to become partners in crime, planning future pranks together at school.
Season 5
Caiden’s Kidnapping
When Caiden returned home from his kidnapping, he saw Casey first. Casey asked him where he had been but when Caiden told him, he didn’t take it seriously and thought his brother was telling him a bad joke.
Meeting Leila Harris
Near the end of season 5 in Chapter 76, Casey tried to befriend Caiden’s best friend, Leila. He teased her about her friendship with Caiden jesting that she was going to marry his brother. She adamantly rejected his joke denying that their friendship was anything more than that.
Casey was secretly thrilled by her words as he had a crush on her himself. He tried to compliment his way out of the situation and when she commented that she didn’t want him to think she was “crushing on Caiden”, he thought that meant she may reciprocate his crush. He told her that if she didn’t marry his brother one day, maybe she’d marry him instead.
Life as a Bear
Despite his confidence, Casey’s fear of failure made him uncomfortable in his own skin. He changed into a bear costume one night and scared his twin brother, Carter. When Hannah went to discuss the costume with Casey, he blew off the discussion and claimed he just “felt like being a bear”.
Seasons 6-7
The Bear Life Continues On
Casey spent the majority of season 6 wandering the house in his bear costume. He got great pleasure out of terrorizing his twin brother, Carter. However, when he saw the ghost of their dog Buttercup, he tried to alert Carter but Carter didn’t believe him because of the bear costume.
In season 7, Chapter 104, Casey continues to wear his bear costume and requests that Hannah make crab pancakes for breakfast.
More to come as his story progresses…
