Who Is…Carter Scott?
Generation 2 (Seasons 2-current)
CAUTION THIS SECTION CONTAINS SPOILERS
Seasons 2-3
Welcome to the World, Carter Scott
Carter Scott is the twin of Casey Scott and was part of the second pair of biological children born to Travis Scott and Hannah McCoy. Carter was born in Season 2, Chapter 26: It’s the Labor That Never Ends. He and his brother were notoriously whiny as babies, never giving their parents a moment of rest.
In Chapter 28, the twins became toddlers and started potty training together. As toddlers, Carter and his brother Casey were very close. Often being confused with his brother during the toddler years, Carter was often not referred to by name.
When Travis tried playing with Carter, he decided to pretend to pick him up without actually picking him up. Carter was we weirded out by this and didn’t understand his dad’s joke.
Season 4
A Loner’s Childhood
In Season 4, Chapter 47, Carter and Casey celebrated their birthday and became children. Carter instantly fell in love with the violin and passionately played at all hours of the night.
Throughout his childhood, he became more of a loner and kept to himself. When the family vacationed together, Carter spent his time learning to cross stitch, although he eventually ventured out with his family to play chess with Jarrett at the Freezer Bunny Kids Club.
Hannah made sure to spend time with Carter on the trip when she noticed he wasn’t connecting much with his siblings.
Season 5
Sibling Dynamics
When playing in the yard during summer vacation, Carter taunted Casey to throw the water balloon at him. Not being outdoorsy or coordinated at all, he got hit in the face straight away.
When his twin brother Casey was playfully flirting with Caiden’s best friend, Leila, Carter stood by on the play equipment eavesdropping on the entire conversation. He didn’t say a thing and continued to keep to himself.
During the night, Carter awoke to his brother Casey dressed as a bear. He screamed in terror and ran to wake up Jarrett. Thinking it was a monster under the bed, Jarrett gave the room a quick spray and left. Still afraid of the bear, Casey ran to wake up his mom. Hannah reassured him that it was just Casey going through a phase, but Carter didn’t believe her.
Seasons 6-7
Distance from Family
In the Season 6 premiere, Carter witnessed his parents kissing and was grossed out by their public display of affection.
While Hannah was making breakfast one morning, Carter joined his brothers in the kitchen. He feared his mom was making crab pancakes and complained that he didn’t want them, much to the dismay of his twin brother, Casey.
In Chapter 106, when the kids brought home projects from school, Carter sat back and let Hannah and Caiden do his project for him while he watched.
Later that day, Jarrett invited his girlfriend Tomi over. When Carter met her, he began to interrogate her, asking what her intentions were with his older brother. As Jarrett and Tomi began to kiss, he was once again grossed about by the kissing.
More to come as his story progresses…
