Hannah kissed her son on the cheek. “Casey, honey. What is this really about?”
“Mom! I hate that I haven’t aged up. I don’t want to be a teenager anymore! Today was supposed to be my birthday.”
“Oh honey. I’m so sorry. You know, my life was extended too… but when you get to be my age, you look at it as a blessing, not a curse.”
Oh sure, brag about not aging up right before the life extension happened, that’s just great, Travis thought, jealous that he missed it both times.
“Mom, I know that’s exciting for you… but Leila and I had plans. She was supposed to take me out tonight. She and I were going to — she was going to be my — my first.”
Oh this just turned awkward, Hannah thought.
I’ll just leave this conversation up to Hannah, Travis thought.
“Casey, you are far too young to be thinking about woohoo. Take your time and just slow down.”
“Seriously mom?! My entire life just slowed down. Leila and I never even messed around and that was okay… but she said, my birthday would be the night. This was supposed to me a night to remember.”
“I’ll tell you what! Why don’t I cook us up some delicious brownies and we can sing some karaoke, watch a movie in the backyard… maybe even play some board games! Make it a night to remember anyways!”
Seriously, he thought. None of that sounded remotely fun.
Hannah was just annoying him at this point.
Argh! I just want to kiss someone, he thought to himself as he got even tenser.
As they sat down to eat, Annabelle joined them and gestured to the empty plate on the table. “What is that dirty plate doing there?! Doesn’t anyone clean anything up?!”
“Arrrrrrrgh!!” Casey shrieked out, stomping his foot. “Are you really upset about a plate right now?! Things could be so much worse. Like today could’ve been the day you were supposed to woohoo for the first time.”
“I already did that,” Annabelle said shooting him a look.
Travis closed his eyes and smiled. “You’re in Sulani. On a beach. It’s a nice sunny day… you’re getting a tan,” he thought trying not to listen.
“No you haven’t Annabelle. You must’ve just messed around,” Casey glared. “You’re younger than me! So that’s impossible!”
“Messed around?! Woohoo’d? What’s the difference. Iggy dumped me right after!” she exclaimed. “I wish I never took that shower with him.”
Just then, Hannah entered the room smiling.
“Isn’t it such a gorgeous day kids?! Who wants to play outside today?”
“Arghhhhh!” they both yelled in frustration. What’s happening with Caiden, Jamie, and Travitha back at the loft? Keep following to find out.
After Hannah tries to comfort Casey, the family sits down for breakfast with a heartbroken Annabelle.
Did You Know?
The gameplay from this chapter was played much later than the other storylines currently in progress. This season, I spent multiple sim days focused on Caiden & Jamie, then Tomi & Jarrett, before switching back to the Scott house. Therefore, this gameplay didn’t actually occur until after the events of Chapter 260.
