Don pulled out a box and handed it to Jamie. “I know you don’t always think I’m the best father but I hope that this helps you create a good life for yourself,” he said.
Jamie opened the box. “$100,000?! Dad! Where did you get this?!” she said in shock.
“I took it from Summer when we escaped the basement,” he shrugged. “And I never spent a penny. I wanted it to be yours — yours and Travitha’s. I don’t need it. As long as I have woohoo and Chloe, I’m happy!”
“Thank you, Dad,” Jamie smiled.
“Hug goodbye?” Don said to Travitha as she turned away.
She was expecting him to at least fight to keep her but instead, Jamie adopting her seemed more like a passing thought to him.
Jamie and Travitha prepared to move out 100 grand richer without Chloe realizing she was chasing an elderly man with only 6 grand to his name now.
With more money than she could’ve ever imagined, Jamie decided to surprise Caiden and buy the loft downtown.
“Oh my gosh, it’s HUGE!” Jamie exclaimed as they stepped inside.
“Wow, I have to call Caiden,” she said.
Jamie pulled out her phone. “Caiden, I have a surprise for you… meet me at the loft.”
When Caiden arrived, Jamie was waiting outside to greet him. She wanted to surprise him, after all.
“Come inside! I have something to show you!”
“Inside? How did you get the key?” Caiden said as they walked in.
“Caiden! Don gave me this insane amount of money,” she smiled. “So I bought it. This is my home now.”
“I mean, this is OUR home now,” she beamed.
“Jamie,” Caiden paused as he gathered his words. “This is incredible.”
He pulled her in for a kiss.
They were officially moving in together.
While Jamie was telling Caiden the exciting news, Travitha headed straight to the bathroom to prank the toilet.
“Ha! They’ll never know what hit them,” she smiled.
After decorating the living room, Caiden ushered Jamie over to the corner.
“Jamie, I bought you something,” he smiled.
“You bought me a piano?” she said as her face glowed.
“Caiden. I don’t even know what to say…this is just…it’s everything to me,” she said choking up.
“You? I’m the real winner here. It was a total selfish decision on my part because now I’ll get to listen to your beautiful singing voice every second of the day.”
“Hold that thought. Maybe not every second… I really need to use the bathroom,” she squirmed. “I’ll be right back!”
Upstairs, Travitha was fast asleep, thrilled with the prank she had set in the downstairs toilet.
As Jamie went to use the bathroom, she smiled thinking of Caiden and his wonderful gift.
When she got up and flushed, the toilet spat out at her.
“Ewwww!” she exclaimed. “Oh my god! Travitha!”
Sighing, she bent down to fix the toilet straight away. Clearly things with Travitha weren’t going quite as smoothly as she thought. Will Jamie manage to turn things with Travitha around? Keep following.

Synopsis

After receiving a birthday gift from her father Don Lothario, Jamie and Travitha move out to begin their new life together.

Did You Know?

  • Where did the money come from? For the longest time, fans have assumed Don Lothario has no cash. However…
    • Both times he left Summer’s basement, he took everything she had. The first time, he took $70,000 from her. Afterwards, he got a job and lived minimally in an apartment.
    • When Jamie moved in with him, she brought over $30,000 with her from Liberty’s house. After Summer trapped him and Jamie the second time, Summer took the lump sum of Don and Jamie’s money.
    • When they escaped again, he once again took all of their combined money (yes, he left Travitha as a teenager alone at that house with $0), resulting in over $100,000 for his personal bank account.
  • Why didn’t Don want the money for himself? Don may be a lot of things, but materialistic has never been one of them. Always happy to be jobless as long as he has his constant supply of woohoo, Don never earned, nor spent money. He was happy eating cereal bowls instead of cooked meals, after all. By living the simple life, he managed to keep most of the money.
    • But what about bills? Because I switch between households so frequently and Don lives a very minimalist lifestyle in Copperdale, he’s rarely paid bills. The few times he has, they haven’t been high at all.
  • Did Don just have a shining dad moment? While giving Jamie and Travitha a chance at a wonderful future with that check, Don’s motives weren’t necessarily as pure of heart as it seems. He absolutely does care about his daughters and wants to see them be okay in life, but he’s also highly motivated to be a bachelor again, free from the clutches of raising children. By gifting that money to Jamie, he’s essentially making sure she takes Travitha out of his hair so he can feel free to woohoo as much as he wants and Chloe can wander the house in the blur without a second thought. Travitha picked up on this moment when Don tried to casually hug her goodbye and didn’t give a second thought to Jamie taking her away.
