Before proposing to Jamie, Caiden decides to speak with Travitha to ask for her permission to marry her sister.

Excerpt
The sun set over the city of San Myshuno. Caiden looked outside the bedroom window as a shooting star darted across the sky. In the background, he could hear Jamie playing the piano and singing. It never ceased to amaze him how beautiful her voice was.
Not just her voice. Her spirit. Her heart. Her everything. She was just the most beautiful soul he had ever known and he knew there was nothing more he wanted than to marry her. He could picture their entire future together. Their entire family.
It’s time to propose, he thought to himself. He walked over to his nightstand and pulled out a tiny baby blue notebook inside. As he flipped it opened, he read the various proposal ideas he had jotted down to himself.
The beach? I can’t do that. Jarrett already did it.
Caiden took out a pen from the drawer and quickly crossed out the idea.
Mt. Komorebi Peak? What if I fall and drop the ring? That was a terrible plan.
He once again scribbled the pen ferociously across the page.
The Motherplant?
Caiden raised his eyebrows as he rubbed his temple. What was I thinking? Sure. Jamie. Let’s go see the old Motherplant. That’s just great. Remember the near death experience we had? Well, I want to marry you before the next one.
Caiden shook his head. That has to be the stupidest idea on this list.
He ripped the paper out of his notebook and scrunched it into a ball. He could feel it as the unrefined edges crunched and pressed into the palm of his hand. Suddenly, his eyes caught a glimpse of the next page of his proposal plan.
Ask Travitha for permission to marry Jamie.
