Cindy Sour Tries to Get Married
Mark and Cindy headed up the nearby steps to the alter.
“Well Cindy… here we are,” he said holding her hands.
“Let me just take a moment to gaze at you in that beautiful wedding dress.”
“Oh Mark, that’s so sweet.”
While they prepared to say their vows, Quincy came walking back.
“I have to take this all in Cindy because…”
He dropped her hands. “It’s proof that I won,” he smirked.
“Excuse me?” she said stunned.
“Cindy. I’m a commitment phobe. Did you honestly think this was going to work out?”
“I actually forgot to Get to Know you… I still don’t know any of your traits if we’re being honest,” she said with a shrug.
Mark looked at Quincy. “It was all fun and games to get engaged to you while this guy was in the shower… but —“
“Actually getting married?! Please. That’s next level.”
Cindy looked at him flabbergasted. But the inheritance money! she thought as her supposed fortune flashed before her eyes.
“See ya on the flip side, Cind!”
Cindy turned her head and glanced at Quincy who was standing there smiling.
Forget Mark and this silly wedding… I can still marry Quincy, she thought with a smile. After all, until the inheritance money clock started ticking, I was hoping Quincy would be the one anyways! One chapter remains for the Cindy Sour: Soulmates series. Will Quincy take her back with opened arms or is that inheritance money gone forever?
Cindy Sour Tries Happily Ever After
Quincy grabbed Cindy. “I told you I’d be here,” he said.
Mark rolled his eyes as Quincy dipped Cindy into a kiss.
“Good luck you two. I’m outta here,” he said walking off.
“Look Quincy. I don’t want you to feel like you’re my second choice…”
“Who cares about that?” he said pulling her in. “Let’s get a photo of this amazing moment!”
He grinned excitedly while she awkwardly smiled.
He put away the phone and quickly dropped to his knee. “Cindy. You’re the love of my life! I can see our entire future together and I want it to start right now. Will you marry me?”
Stunned, Cindy stared at the ring. “Sure…” she said.
He whisked her up into his arms and carried her to the alter.
“We’re going to do this right,” he smiled.
“Yeah, okay,” she glared skeptically after what happened with Mark.
He put away the phone and quickly dropped to his knee. “Cindy. You’re the love of my life! I can see our entire future together and I want it to start right now. Will you marry me?”
He stroked her wrist.
“Your turn sweetie,” he said.
“The woohoo was pretty good,” she said unsure of what else to say. Her mind was racing. “Did I forget to Get to Know ALL of these men?!” she suddenly realized.
“You’re a blunt woman and I love it,” he smiled.
“Now let’s make this official,” he said kissing her on the cheek.
And just like that, after exchanging rings, they were officially married.
Cindy never received the money the lady on the phone promised her. But that didn’t stop her and Quincy from preparing to live happily ever after… “Oh Cindy! I can’t wait for you to join me on the farm. You’ll get to meet the new horse I just adopted,” Quincy said. “New horse?” she said gazing into his eyes.
“Yeah! Her name is Bee!” he smiled. Cindy quickly pulled away. “Did you just say Bee?” she grimaced. “Oh $#!&,” she screamed internally. After all, she had vowed to never to be seen near a horse again — especially Bee — after what happened last time! Maybe being single wasn’t such a bad idea after all, she thought with a smirk.
