Hi everyone! I hope you all are enjoying the current season! We are about halfway through Season 21 now and I can’t wait for you to see what unravels in the weeks to come.
Yesterday, I looked at the date and realized my kids only have a few more weeks left before the summer holidays here in New Zealand, so I better start working on Season 22 before they’re home and I never have a chance to write! Well, I sat down and was on a complete roll! Somehow, I managed to write all of Season 22 in one day and it is all ready to go for the January/February season!
I know it probably seems like I must play the game a lot – but the gameplay for January’s upcoming season was actually played nearly a year ago in December 2024/January 2025! I’m nearly caught up on my content, with about one more season of pictures still banked, which means, I’m finally going to get to play the Scott family again soon. I have missed them so much and I have hated being away from them for this long. However, when I get so far ahead in content, I have no choice but to take a break so I can catch up with writing and stay on track for the gameplay and stories!
I can’t give any major spoilers of course on what’s to come but Season 22 will be a huge story for Travitha (…she may be getting a love interest…), ghost Don as he continues to explore the great beyond, and of course, Casey because – well, it’s Casey.
Thank you to all of my members and a huge shout out to those of you who subscribe. My husband has been out of work for the past year and we’ve been living off of savings and the very small bits of income I make from my Patreon, so I really appreciate you guys! It’s been a very stressful year but he’s opening a fish butchery shop now with his friend in the upcoming weeks and I’m very excited for him!
As for me, besides working on the story, I’m currently recording my very first studio album! The songs are all written by me and it has been a lifelong dream of mine to do this. My upcoming album, “Not Something Adults Should Say,” is rooted in everything that inspires me — motherhood, marriage, and everyday challenges as an adult. As a millennial, my sound is shaped by my nostalgia for late ’90s pop, while my songwriting style draws influence from two of my favorite artists: Taylor Swift’s storytelling and Sabrina Carpenter’s humor. No matter what my song is about though, I always end on an optimistic note because I believe that hope is a necessary part of life.
This album is a time capsule of the many curveballs life has thrown my way. I also hope it’s a guide — something for my children to listen to one day and realize it’s normal to go through all of these emotions. I’m sharing the lyrics and the stories behind them on my new website, JustineThomas.com, as the songs drop. I hope you all will give the songs a listen and read about them too!
Thank you all again for being so supportive of my series and I can’t wait to keep sharing stories of the Scott family with you! I’m also working again on Cindy Sour’s new season and hope to have that finished soon!
