Hi everyone! As you know, a few weeks ago I spent a few days in the hospital. I’m doing much better now but the entire ordeal definitely put me behind on a lot of things. My usual routine includes having the next season completed before the latest season concludes, however time has not been on my side for the first time since the series began in 2022.
When will Season 21 be released? I’m tentatively aiming for Season 21 to begin October 27th or November 3rd.
How long will the break be between seasons? Normally, it’s a 3-4 week break. Because of the delays, this break will be 5-6 weeks.
How much of the season is currently written? Just before I ended up in the hospital, I had completed writing on the first seven chapters of Season 21. I aim for at least 18 chapters per season so I’m almost at the halfway mark. The gameplay was all completed during November of 2024, so the footage is all there, as well as my gameplay notes which I use to guide my story arcs! I expect the writing to be done in the next couple weeks so I can announce the official release date. My kids are on school holiday now for two weeks so that definitely adds an extra layer of challenge as well, as it’s harder to carve out time to write while they’re at home all day.
Other reasons for this upcoming’s season delay: October is notoriously my “busy” month, as I’m also planning my son’s birthday party, which I fell very behind on because of everything that happened. Obviously, my first priority right now is to not disappoint my son and throw him the best kick-ass superhero party I can muster! Besides that, I’m going to the recording studio once a week working on recording my songs for the first time in over 15 years. It’s been such an exhilarating experience and I can’t wait to share my music with you all if you’re interested!
I thank you all for your understanding and patience! This has been quite a stressful and hectic time as I try to balance my health, my writing, parenting duties, and my music.
I look forward to completing this season soon for you all and having an official release date! It’s got some of my favorite gameplay moments, including, the most epic Sims woohoo I have ever witnessed. Trust me. This location is unheard of.
