As I sat down yesterday to continue writing the upcoming season of Sim Life Chronicles, it hit me that I’d be writing the 400th chapter. When I started Hannah’s family in 2022, I had no idea her story would grow into an entire saga. (If you’re new here, you can binge the entire series thus far from the beginning by heading to my Collections section here on Patreon for the episode guides or go directly to my website.)
It has been such a joy to create this series. All of the chaos, all of the drama. All of the romance. I’ve loved developing these characters, weaving in the glitches and cheesy aspects of the game, and showing you all how much fun mod-free gameplay can be with enough creativity! As a child, my biggest dream was to create a TV show and while this isn’t on TV, writing this soapy saga has given me a semblance of that… and I love it.
Behind the scenes, it hasn’t always been easy. There’s been plenty of writers block and self doubt that I’ll never be able to grow this the way I dream to. There’s been days where I’ve thought about giving up and have doubted the value in what I create. There’s been weeks I’ve worried that turning my hobby into a hustle took away my only R&R time and I’ll never play the game for fun the way I used to. There’s been months I’ve wanted to cry worrying this will never be enough to help provide for my family as a stay-at-home mom and that one day, I’ll be forced to quit creating because I’ll need to find a different hustle — Which that thought alone hurts more than anything because I love creating this series and I know how much you all love reading this series too.
But then there are fans like you who tell me how much my story means to you and how it brightens your toughest weeks. Fans who comment on the chapters, one by one, picture by picture, sharing your thoughts and laughs along the way, letting me enjoy it through your eyes. Fans who help support the series and tell me it’s worth it because you love it and value what I create.
It’s those fans — you — who break down the walls of writers block and get me back in the saddle, ready and hopeful to create another 400 chapters. It’s those fans — you — who keep me dreaming that maybe one day I will be able to earn a respectable income off of my creative writing. It’s those fans — you — who keep me going and never giving up.
I’m forever grateful. Thank you for loving this series as much as I love creating it for you. I hope I get the opportunity to continue writing it for you all for years to come.

You’ll get exclusive access to early spoilers, episode descriptions, and Q&As that let you dig deep into what’s coming next — even before the chapters drop.
-
Creator Access – The Hannah McCoy: a $20 tier where you’ll get weekly advanced chapter drops before anyone else — no waiting until Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. Plus, you’ll unlock full early access to new seasons of Cindy Sour: Short Stories and a detailed look behind the scenes of how I build this world. From my gameplay logs and future photo previews, to the story arcs I’m planning (or changing) — this tier gives you a front-row seat to the creative chaos of Sim Life Chronicles.
Whether you’re a free member or a paying member, I’m so grateful for all of you! Please share with me below your favorite moments or characters from the series and what you’re most excited to see!
