Synopsis: With Casey and Carter gone, Hannah and Travis enjoy their empty nest until they realize Annabelle is still living there.
Excerpt:
Hannah and Travis sat snuggly on the couch as the latest episode of The Cindy Sour show came to an end. Travis slid his hand up Hannah’s leg, settling his palm on her waist.
“Do you hear that?” he whispered into her ear.
“What?” she responded quietly.
“Exactly,” he winked. They had waited what felt like a million sim weeks for them to finally be empty nesters. With their final three kids grown up, it was the first time they had the house all to themselves.
Travis cupped Hannah’s face with his hand as he moved his body towards her. “I’m going to make love to you, right here on this couch.”
Hannah smiled as she bit her lower lip. Time may have passed them by, but their love was still as strong as always.
“I don’t think we can woohoo on the couch — but we can makeout here and then jump in the closet…”
Travis slowly leaned Hannah back onto the couch as he slid his hand underneath her blouse.
“Mmm…your skin smells like chamomile and muckleberry. My two favorite things,” he teased.
“Well, I’ve been making those de-stressing decoctions in my free time. There’s about 20 jars just sitting around the barbecue —“
Travis cut her off as he firmly pressed his lips against hers. Her lips were warm and tender. Every time he touched them against his own, he felt like he was time traveling back to the moment she first kissed him.
