I originally planned to end the previous episode with the first screenshot of this chapter, revealing Jamie’s fate but decided to leave it as a cliffhanger.

I have never successfully pleaded with the Grim Reaper and researched everything to do beforehand to make the plea a success. Originally, I planned to find Caiden a death flower to use but there wasn’t time to get one. Instead, I had him chat to the mirror and get a confident moodlet before everything transpired.

While Grim did agree to save Jamie, the game glitched and she didn’t come back to life. Thankfully, I saved (as I always do before any of these key moments) and just kept the Grim footage as if it happened. In my actual gameplay though, this moment now never happened because I had to walk it back from this glitch!

While the snow was right there and Caiden could’ve easily snowballed Chloe, it was extremely important for me to show that Caiden is not, nor will he ever be, a killer. He’s a hero. What happened with Summer was an unexpected accident and one he struggled with. If he snowballed Chloe now, he would do it knowing the consequences and thus truly become a killer.
