You’ve read “The Legacy of Hannah McCoy”. You hate Summer Holiday because she’s pure evil and you’ll never unsee those crazy eyes. You love Liberty Lee because she was the innocent bystander caught in Summer’s wrath. You know Don Lothario is the biggest player alive. You adore Travis Scott because he’s the sweetest sim on the planet. And you love Hannah McCoy, because she’s the heroine that started it all.
But what if, everything you thought you knew was a lie? What if they were all just actors playing their roles?
Meet the Cast
Get the real scoop on who they are, despite what the fans might say!
Lindsay Purely
Lindsay Purely was a complete unknown when she landed the role of Hannah McCoy. Her ambitious nature helped her land the part as she competed with Allison Leeman, who eventually landed the smaller role of Liberty Lee. As Lindsay has risen to B-Lister status, her goofy and humble nature has helped her keep her good reputation in tact and she is always happy to pose for the cameras. On set, Lindsay quickly bonded with Melissa Winter, who plays Summer Holiday. However, their massively different reputations has caused fans to question if Lindsay is really the pure and kind sim she portrays herself as. Will fame go to her head or will she stay forever humble? Will her and Melissa’s friendship survive their massively different reputations as Lindsay continues to try to rise in stardom?
Required Starting Traits (Base Game): Ambitious, Goofball, Creative
Required Starting Aspiration: Fabulously Wealthy
Asher Bennett
Asher Bennett was cast as Travis Scott while his career was already on the rise. Shortly before he landed the role, he was caught woohooing in a bush with Bella Goth, a married woman. Once he landed the role and the world fell in love with him as Travis, his reputation was quickly repaired. Will he be able to pursue his playboy nature while rising in fame and keeping his reputation pristine?
Required Starting Traits (Base Game): Non-Committal, Romantic (Get Famous): Self-Absorbed
Required Starting Aspiration: Serial Romantic
Kevin Kanter
Kevin Kanter has been typecast for as long as he can remember. While he has nailed the role of Don Lothario and countless other players in past roles, it has caused the fans to assume he’s just as horrible as the roles he plays. Little do they realize this good and generous man is just looking to start a family of his own. Unfortunately, as his fame rose to global superstardom, his atrocious reputation has made it equally impossible to find the right sim to trust and fall in love with him. Will he be able to break free from the image that the show has given him and find the love of his life?
Required Starting Traits (Base Game): Good, Family Oriented
Third Trait: Generous (if you own For Rent), or Neat (Base Game)
Required Starting Aspiration: Soulmate
Melissa Winter
Melissa Winter auditioned for the role of Summer Holiday after spending weeks perfecting her craft as an actress. Being both creative and a perfectionist, she always brings her best work to the role put in front of her. When she landed the role of Summer, Travis’ best friend, she was eager to put her cheerful and outgoing nature to work. She quickly bonded with the lead actress Lindsay Purely, and the two of them became friends. As the show progressed though, the writers quickly changed her story and the role changed dramatically from what she signed up for. While she had fun learning witchcraft for the role, she found her reputation quickly going downhill as she performed her evil scenes. Can she fix her reputation and show the world the sweet and normal sim that she truly is?
Required Starting Traits (Base Game): Creative, Perfectionist, Cheerful
Required Starting Aspiration: Master Actress
Allison Leeman
Allison Leeman originally auditioned for the role of Hannah McCoy and was furious when she lost the part to Lindsay Purely. However, she eventually was given the role of sweetheart, Liberty Lee. While the producers tried to increase her role in the series, her endless partying and poor attitude was constantly getting in the way. Rumor has it, the writers were even considering sending her character off to the Grim Reaper. Yet, the fans only saw her as the sweet Liberty Lee, and her reputation has remained shockingly good. Will she be able to keep the world from seeing the mean sim she truly is and continue her rise to stardom?
Required Starting Traits (Base Game): Mean, Hates Children
Third Trait: High Maintenance (if you own Spa Day), Party Animal (if you own High School Years), or Materialistic (Base Game)
Required Starting Aspiration: World Famous Celebrity
What You Need for the SLC Studio Challenge
Download the SLC Studio Challenge cast on the gallery under my ID, SimLifeChronicle. I have two versions available: one with a huge amount of packs used for designing their outfits and a LV (Limited Version) which only uses the base game and Get Famous for the outfits. The gallery lists other packs as well for that version but I have no idea why (I’m guessing it could be skills they have?). Either way, they will show up correctly in your game if you only have those two packs!
Share their adventures in my Sim Life Chronicles group or any other sim group you’re a part of, and don’t forget to tag Sim Life Chronicles in your posts! Use the hashtag #slcstudiochallenge

Rules for the SLC Studio Challenge
Two Ways to Play
- Play them all originally living in the same house as they continue their rise to stardom
- Alternatively, move them into separate homes and either focus on only one household or switch between households (household can include one sim or whatever combination of sims you see fit!)
Basic Rules
- No cheating to change personality traits, fame levels, or reputation; if they all change naturally throughout the course of the game, that’s fine!
- Delete original BFF household and Don Lothario from the game
- No changing their actual features…unless the sim decides to get “plastic surgery” partway through the story
- If you decide to edit their features eventually, you must deduct $10,000 from the household funds as they “pay” for this change
- They currently all have jobs with the Ministry of Labor, however they can get any of these jobs as well:
- Actor
- Social Media
- Criminal
- Entertainer
- Fast Food Employee
- Barista
- Simfluencer
- Entrepreneur
- Bartender (by bartending on lots)
Money Rules
- Each Actor begins with the amount of money as follows. If you choose to move them out separately (or as roommates), this is their portion:
- Lindsay Purely: $35,000
- Asher Bennett: $30,000
- Kevin Kanter: $50,000
- Melissa Winter: $20,000
- Allison Leeman: $5500
- If all actors live together, the household funds must be cheated to: $140,500 (before purchasing a house to live in)
- If moving Kevin Kanter into his own home, you can use the FreeRealEstate cheat since he’s a high profile celebrity
- The FreeRealEstate cheat cannot be used for any other sims as they’re all still working their way up in the business
Personality Rule
- Stay true to their traits and characters while attempting to build their fame, their reputations, careers, and trying to achieve their aspirations.
- Whatever interactions you choose should make sense for their personality. For example, Allison Leeman is never going to interact nicely off set with a child. You can however expand on their personality as you see fit. If you imagine her mean to everyone unless she’s at a party drinking nectar when suddenly she is fawning over everyone, be my guest! But the main idea is, choose your interactions as though these sims are real! Their actions should make sense for who they are.
I hope you all enjoy the challenge! Please share your stories and experiences with the SLC Studio Challenge in my Sim Life Chronicles Facebook Fan Group and any other Sims group you may be a part of! Don’t forget to use the hashtag #slcstudiochallenge
