The stars twinkled over the sky in Windenburg as Jamie and Caiden made their way out of the tall glass doors of the conservatory.
“How does it feel to be Mrs. Scott?” Caiden smiled at his new bride.
“That’s Lee-Scott,” she winked, “and it feels incredible.”
Caiden lifted her hand as her fingers wrapped around his. He gently tipped his head as he leaned over and kissed it. As he glanced back up at her sparkling brown eyes, they heard a clink from the bar.
“Toast! Toast! Toast!” Caiden’s siblings and Travis began chanting.
Hannah stood next to the bucket of nectar with a glass in her hand.
“Caiden and Jamie. Love sometimes feels so rare to find and yet at some point, we all fall in love. Finding your soulmate, however, is something that only happens once in a lifetime, if you’re lucky enough. And the two of you, are so beyond lucky,” she beamed as she looked at them.
“I’m not going to lie. When Caiden first came home and told me he was dating Don Lothario’s daughter, the only thing screaming in my head was RUN FOR THE HILLS. Go to Batuu and never look back!”
