Cindy Sour may be self assured, but the bluntness that comes along with that, can be a little bit off putting. Now that she’s been promoted in the law career, she has to use her non-existent people person skills to get her very first clients in this Sims 4 Short Story!
“Cindy Sour Tries to Get New Clients”
Inside her apartment building, Cindy decided to go door to door to get new legal clients.
She knocked on the door. “Hello? Is anyone home?”
To her surprise, a new set of neighbors had just moved in through Neighborhood Stories!
“Hello, I’m Cindy. Are you in need of some legal representation?” she asked.
“No! How dare you insinuate that. Why would you even ask?”
Cindy pointed at the floor. “You have a body outline on your floor,” she said bluntly.
Summer glared. “That was here before we moved in. Now please leave.”
Cindy ventured outside to find more clients. Hmmm, maybe this guy is sleeping on a bench in the city for a reason? she thought. “Hey! Wake up!” she said. “Do you need some legal help?”
He sat up and looked at her. “Excuse me?”
“Look, I’m desperate. I’ve only worked in legal for a few days and I don’t have any clients. I need at least 12 before work begins tomorrow so I can get promoted.”
“Will you hire me?”
“With that sales pitch? Absolutely not!” he said, rejecting her instantly.
“Please! It’s free! You don’t have to pay me a single simoleon and you’ll never have to discuss a case with me! I promise!”
Hoping that by accepting, she would leave him alone, he agreed to be her client.
She stood there staring at him, unsure of what to say next.
Trying to fill the silence, she decided to lean in and kiss him. “Thank you! You won’t regret this!”
