Season 5, Episode 16, Chapter 77
Inside, Jarrett decided to change his hair back to his original color. But just when he did, he noticed some hair growing on his face too!
“Yeah, I thought, my hair is pretty cool. I should show it off… but can you help me shave, dad?”
Travis was thrilled to experience this big moment with Jarrett!
“First, you put the shaving cream on…”
“And then you shave!”
“Good job, son,” Travis said. His instructions were so helpful, he should probably leave Jarrett to it, he thought as he turned and left the room.
Uhhh how do I do this? Jarrett thought as he nervously shaved and nicked his face in the process.
Later that night while everyone was asleep, Carter woke up in terror. “Ahhh there’s a bear in my room!”
Casey stood there. “Rawrrrr!” He just felt like being a bear tonight. He didn’t know it would freak his brother out so much!
“Ahhhhhh” screamed Carter.
Carter ran down the hall as fast as he could, afraid his brother was eaten by a bear and that he would be next.
“Jarrett! Wake up!!!!!”
“A bear ate Casey!!!!”
Jarrett smiled. “A bear didn’t eat Casey. It was just a nightmare, Carter. Go back to sleep.”
“No! I swear it did eat him! I’ll show you!” He ran down the hall while Jarrett slowly followed.
Clutching Jarrett’s hand, Carter stood there nervous.
“See! He’s been eaten!”
“Look, I’m tired Carter. I’ll just spray your room and then I’m going back to bed,” Jarrett said.
After Jarrett left the room, Carter confronted the strawberry bear. “Ahhh did you eat my brother?”
“Are you going to eat me too?!” He said in terror. Casey just stood there.
“Rawrrrrr!” Casey said.
Carter went running back down the hall.
“Wake up!!!! Casey was eaten by a giant red bear!”
“It was so terrifying mom! It rawr’d at me. I think it’s going to eat me too!”
“Carter, honey. Calm down. There are no bears here. I’m sure it’s just your brother going through a phase.”
“No mom, the bear even had a giant strawberry on his belly. He eats EVERYTHING. Fruit and sims!”
“You wait here, I’ll go talk to the bear. Okay?”
Hannah went down the hall to see Casey.
“Casey — why are you dressed as a bear? Is everything okay?”
“I just felt like being a bear mom. I don’t know. I woke up and it seemed like the most normal thing to do.”
“You really scared your brother, Casey,” said Hannah. “I didn’t mean to… I guess I’ll go to bed and not be a bear for the rest of the night, okay?” said Casey. The two of them then headed back to bed.
