Hannah left the spa to meet her family for dinner at the nearby sushi restaurant.
Hannah told Travis all about her day and he quickly pulled out his phone. “I’m going to call and complain. That is unacceptable,” he said.
“I read a book today about this awesome plane wreck in Strangerville…” Jarrett said.
Hannah sat there awkwardly. She didn’t wanted to say anything about that plane wreck, after all, Jarrett enjoyed the book so much.
After they ate, the waitress collected all the dirty dishes and put them in front of Carter.
“Am I supposed to do the dishes here too?!? I don’t even do them at home!” Carter exclaimed. He was very upset.
When they stood up to leave, Travis grabbed Hannah by the waist and swung her over his knee for a kiss. “Let’s send the kids home and you and I can have a date night,” he whispered in her ear.
The two of them arrived for their date night and ready to do their favorite activity together — karaoke!
Travis and Hannah jumped up on stage ready for some karaoke fun!
Even if literally nobody in the bar was listening to them.
Travis and Hannah sang their hearts out when suddenly…
A paparazzi spotted them on stage and started shouting, “Hannah McCoy! Look over here!”
Hannah didn’t mind. At least they were getting photos of her fully clothed and having the time of her life with Travis. Maybe she could order a copy?
Travis whispered, “It looks like the crowd is starting to notice us.”
Hannah looked back into the bar. Everyone was watching them now. Although one lady was crying. Did she really hate their voices that much?
As the song finished the woman walked up onto the stage. “Finally, I was waiting for my turn,” she grumbled.
Hannah and Travis sat down for drinks.
“Thank you for this wonderful night,” Hannah said to Travis. “I needed this…we needed this.”
The two of them sat at the bar chatting and joking about options to get rid of Summer and Don. “It’s impossible to live anywhere without them showing up,” Hannah said. “We could always get a cow plant,” Travis jested.
Travis gazed at Hannah. He loved that Hannah was so pure of heart. He knew that even though they could laugh about a cowplant, they’d never actually get one.
Hannah gazed back at Travis. If only cow plants were safe around the kids, she thought. Getting one could really take care of their problems! She never thought she’d consider such a thing, but desperate times call for desperate measures, she mused to herself.
As the sun came up, Travis and Hannah decided to take a short hike in the neighborhood.
“I heard a rumor that if you yell out into the cave by the shrine, your voice will echo all the way back to you.”
“Hello!” Hannah shouted.
Travis watched her. It was nice to see Hannah just relax and do something quirky.
She held her hand to her ear trying to listen. “I think I heard it!” She said excitedly.
Travis decided to give it a try too. “Hello!” He shouted.
Travis listened. He knew if he listened intently enough, he’d hear a hello echo back.
“Hello, Don,” Summer said into the phone. “I need you to come over now. It’s important.” Things are about to get real interesting. Keep following Sim Life Chronicles to find out what happens next.
