The next day, Hannah invited her friends to hang out and Travis brought his roommate Summer along. Hannah and Summer chatted and got along really well!
Hannah pulled Travis aside to chat and give him a hug hello.
Summer walked by, concerned. She was worried Hannah was stringing Travis along. As his roommate, she knows how much Travis loves Hannah.
After everyone else left, Travis stayed behind and the two gobbled down popcorn before agreeing to go check out the flea market together.
When they arrived, Don called, asking if he could meet up. “Sure! You can join Travis and I!”
Don arrived and the situation turned from awkward to excruciatingly awkward when Bjorn came over to say hi too.
Not wanting to hang out with Travis, Don walked off to play basketball. Hannah followed him and he didn’t care: he threw the basketball straight over her head. No way was she messing up his game.
Hannah was terrified she was going to get hit in the head with a basketball.
“What is wrong with you Don?” She was not impressed. Don put down the basketball and laughed it off. He thought it was funny scaring her…it’s not like she was *actually* going to get hit right? So what’s the harm?
They all headed over to grab some food. Travis glared at Don. He clearly doesn’t like him.
Travis walked away to grab a table and get away from looking at Don. Don could sense that Travis was into Hannah, and he didn’t like it. Not one bit.
As they sat and ate, Hannah fed Don bites of her food, while Travis watched in despair.
“If only Hannah was my woman,” he thought to himself.
When Hannah returned home she decided it was time to make a change! No more customer service job.
She applied to college! She had no idea what she was interested in but that’s what college is for right? Finding yourself!
Before she could even get accepted, she got a call from the Spy Agency. They were recruiting her! Did they know she is literally the worst at detecting peoples illicit secrets? As illogical as it seemed, Hannah was excited for an opportunity outside of customer service!
She called Don over to tell him the news but when he learned he wasn’t there for woohoo, he left.
So Hannah called Travis and told him all about her secret new job.
He was worried for her safety, but it’s not like he could stop her from making this choice, so he chose to be supportive.
Minutes later she received a call from Bjorn congratulating her. Clearly this is why he kept calling and asking her questions! He was vetting her for the agency!
Travis and Hannah went outside and looked up at the stars together.
It was so easy being with Travis. They could gaze at the sky and just talk for hours about anything. Their hopes, their dreams… there was a whole world of possibilities out there.
Afterwards, Hannah decided to make dinner. Travis wanted to show off his skills to impress her and gave her some advice on how to make spaghetti.
The next day, Hannah left for her very first day at the agency!
She confidently walked out the door, dressed to impress.
While at work, she got the option to work on either a boring case or an intriguing case. After working at her boring customer service job, she knew she’d have to choose the interesting one!
Hannah being the top notch spy that she is though, failed at her first mission.
She shook it off the next day. After one day of work, she already had her first vacation day: Winterfest! The season was here and she was ready to celebrate with her friends.
She snuggled Buttercup after setting up the backyard, using the money she still had from her marriage to Marcus (although he did take half when they divorced…).
As her friends arrived, they sang holiday songs.
The second Don arrived, he walked passed Hannah and sat down with her single friends to chat them up.
Marcus decided to call and Hannah brushed him off. Nobody needs you as a friend Marcus.
As Travis arrived, Hannah held the mistletoe above Don’s head, asking for a kiss. Travis’s face dropped as he watched them together.
From Hannah’s perspective, the party was a huge success and everyone had so much fun mingling. She didn’t notice that Don was trying his hardest not to mingle with “her” friends.
Except Penny Pizzazz! He knew she wasn’t a close friend to Hannah and was ready to make make a pass…but before he could, Hannah started saying goodbye to everyone. The holiday party was over and it was time to leave.
The next day, Hannah and Don met up for drinks at the lounge.
Together they sang some karaoke but Hannah couldn’t help but notice…
Penny was there fangirling away. Maybe she liked Hannah’s singing? (Or maybe she was hoping to hit on Don after Hannah left…)
That evening, Hannah went to the Spice Festival to meet up with all of her friends, and Don. When she arrived, Travis and little Jarrett were already there.
Travis asked Hannah to look up at the stars with him. While he pointed at his favorite stars in the sky, Hannah looked over at Travis. Something felt different. The sky was full of so many dreams and beautiful possibilities. She closed her eyes and realized for the first time exactly what she wanted.
She wanted to get engaged to Don. He is clearly the one!
A trip to the flea market reveals someone’s crush on Hannah; Hannah gets an unexpected job offer; Hannah gets a want that will forever change her destiny.
