The next day, Winterfest had arrived! Hannah ran downstairs all dressed up and loaded up the present pile.
Meanwhile, Annabelle was painting the twins bedroom floor.
Hannah and Travis called down the kids to join them! It was time to open presents!
Annabelle was super excited to open hers.
Casey couldn’t wait to see what she got…after all, a toddler toy for one of them, was a toddler toy for all of them!
“Do you like the fossil rock I gave you?” Hannah said.
They were all shocked. It was such a strange and unique gift for a toddler — but the present pile was always full of mysteries. They loved it!
With all of the presents unwrapped, Caiden decided he had one more thing to unwrap— himself. He was back to his favorite pastime of running around naked.
The nanny gave Jarrett an extra present, thanking him for all of his help as a big brother.
That night, Travis and Hannah were so tired, they put Annabelle and Caiden to bed in the wrong rooms.
The toddlers noticed the mix up and quickly got out of bed to switch.
Hannah and Travis headed downstairs to watch a holiday movie with Jarrett.
It was nice to get some quiet time while all of the toddlers were asleep.
Or so they thought…apparently the toddlers were having a little dinner party up in Annabelle’s room at 11pm.
Travis heard some noise and came to check on what was happening.
This is what I get for having four toddlers, he thought to himself, with a chuckle.
As he sent the kids back to bed, Annabelle was so tired she wandered out of her room and passed out asleep on the floor instead.
Ah. Finally, the entire household was fast asleep.
The next morning, the twins woke up Hannah together.
Minutes later, Hannah received a phone call. It was Summer asking to hang out. She had been trying to avoid her so she almost said no…
But then she realized they were long overdue for a chat over everything that happened. It was time to put her good trait aside and deal with Summer’s actions.
“Hey Summer. How’s it going? How’s your love life? Any new developments?” Hannah asked as casually as possible.
“Oh you know… same old, same old. Not much to report,” said Summer.
“Been hitting on anyone’s husband lately?”
“Uh…”
“Hey. Is that Travis?” Hannah said to distract Summer. Summer turned to look while Hannah picked up a snowball.
“Hannah what are you doing —“
Hannah thrust her arm back, armed with the snowball.
And smashed it straight into Summer’s face.
