Before the ceremony, Travis took Hannah into the lounge next door to calm her nerves and sing some karaoke.
He always knows just how to keep me calm, she thought to herself, as she sang.
Travis smiled at her. I am so proud of her, he thought to himself.
As they finished their song, Travis got a text from Summer. Looks like she’s got a new friend! Wonderful, he thought.
The award ceremony began and they all sat down as the host took the stage.
“Welcome to the Starlight Accolades!”
They announced the first winner of the evening and the woman gave a very impassioned speech. “I’d like to thank the entire world for this award! You are all spectacular and I’m proud of all of you for being able to recognize my glorious talent!”
Travis zoned off while the actress kept rambling about her achievements and Hannah smiled, masking her nerves.
Travis looked at Hannah and whispered, “You’ve got this my love.”
Hannah just stared ahead. Were they going to call her name? The ceremony is almost over, she thought.
Travis watched her. He knew there was nothing he could say to reassure her.
Suddenly, the host announced the final winner of the evening…
It was Hannah!
Hannah couldn’t believe it. She got up on stage and held the award and she waved at the crowd.
She stood there, staring in disbelief. She had no words to describe this moment.
Travis jumped up behind one of the press cameras and started taking pictures of Hannah.
The host glared at Travis. That’s not your camera, he thought to himself.
“I’d like to thank my wonderful husband Travis for all of his support. I never could’ve done this without his love…not to mention, all of his help rehearsing scenes!”
After the ceremony concluded, Hannah met and mingled with fellow celebrities.
She couldn’t believe they’d take pictures with her!
While she mingled, Travis napped on the couch.
He wanted to make sure she got to experience every second of her big night.
After he woke up, they headed to the lounge to celebrate. Hannah waved excitedly at Judith Ward. “Remember me from the set?!?” She said.
She knew Travis was a fan of Judith so she tried to get him an introduction. “You should really get to know my husband, Travis. He’s a computer genius…he made that latest app, Friendzone to Endzone!”
Travis sat there, bashful as his face turned red.
Judith was not quite sure about this but she figured, what the heck? This woman just won an award, I guess I should make nice with her husband. “Sure, I suppose I have some time to meet him, Hannah,” Judith said.
Travis tried to draw as little attention to himself as possible, by going straight behind the bar where everyone could see him, threw his fist in the air, and yelled “yeahhhhh!”
Travis sat down next to Judith. He couldn’t believe he was meeting his favorite actress, ever (besides Hannah of course!).
Judith was surprised by how much she actually liked Travis.
They all talked late into the night, until it was time for the lounge to close.
The next morning, the toddlers all saw that it was snowing outside and came crawling down the stairs.
They hummed to each other, “The ants are marching one by one hurrah hurrah…”
They all headed outside to play in the snow with the nanny Hannah and Travis hired.
Upstairs, Hannah was in labor!
The one strawberry worked! Welcome to the family, Annabelle!
Their happy family was finally complete.
As the sun came up, Summer stood outside the house watching… What happens next?
