Boo, I’ve Got You
“Who’s ready for a family picture?” Hannah said to everybody.
Everyone gathered by the fireplace for the photo.
“Oh Caiden, sweetheart. You should stand next to Leila,” Chloe said trying to stir up trouble.
“Or, I could stand next to my wife,” he squealed pointedly.
“Look Leila. I really think you could make a play for Caiden and help me out here,” Chloe said. Leila sighed. “I don’t think I have time with my busy schedule.”
“Oh honey. You don’t need to lie to me. I can tell you’re living in squalor. You’ve got all the signs.”
Leila looked at her. How did she know her life wasn’t going according to plan? she thought.
“Look Leila. All you need is to share some very important details with Travitha about her Mommy…and this could all be yours.”
Leila looked at Travitha as she prepared for the family photo with Caiden and Jamie.
“Maybe we should all making quacking poses for the family photo?” Travitha jested. Caiden and Jamie laughed.
“There are enough quacks here!” Caiden punned.
Leila sighed. Do I even want to listen to this woman? Do I care about any of this? she thought.
“Get over here, my stunning wife. You need to be front and center for this photo,” Caiden said waving to Jamie.
“Why don’t you come here, my sexy husband?”
“Ugh! Why are they SO obsessed with each other!” Leila sighed.
After the photo was taken and the guests started to leave, Hannah caught up with Brent. “And then, I said, Travis, there are no police!”
Meanwhile, Annabelle headed upstairs to start doing yoga again.
And Casey realized that even though taunting Leila was fun at the time, it wasn’t quite as rewarding as he thought it would be.
Carter arrived back at the cabin, just in time to get changed for work. As he headed out the door, he slipped on green slime.
“How much longer can I stay here?” he thought to himself as the slime smiled at him.
“Ugh, that really hurt my back,” he sighed.
While he was at work, a scary gnome appeared.
When he arrived back, he saw it and freaked. “Not a gnome!” he said.
He ran out back by the sink to hide.
Maybe if I cower here in the rain it will all just go away, he thought. Just then, the house started making spooky sounds.
“Nope. I’m outta here!” Carter said running out.
As he pulled out his umbrella, he cautiously walked by the trees. I hope nothing jumps out at me, he thought.
“Well this whole being on my own thing was clearly a bust.”
He pulled out his phone and stared at it with uncertainty.
“Do I have to tell mom and dad they were right and put my rockstar dreams on hold?”
“Dad, I’ve decided to move back home. See you soon,” he wrote.
Maybe I don’t have to send it. Maybe I can stay here, he thought.
Just then, he heard a howl from the house and quickly hit send. “I’m outta here!” Carter is coming home just in time for his birthday. What will happen next?

Synopsis

Chloe tries to stir up trouble by using Leila; Carter heads home to find some new additions to his cabin.

Did You Know?

  • I’ve never played the Paranormal pack before and truly wanted to play out the entire scenario at the haunted house. However, with Carter and Casey’s birthday around the corner, I wanted to make sure the twins aged up together.
  • As much as fans have wondered if Leila would become the next Summer, I try really hard not to repeat villains and storylines (as hard as that is in The Sims since there’s only so many options!). Summer was driven by her obsession and lust for Travis, while Chloe, despite her woohoo tactics, is driven solely by greed. Leila chasing Caiden would seem both repetitive and unlike her character. At the end of the day, she is far too self absorbed and obsessed with being chased. She would never lower herself to do the chasing.
