My Heart is With You
Near the aisle, a knight Caiden hired for protection started walking around.
Don looked at him and spotted others. “These knights are super cool!”
Caiden beamed as he looked at Jamie. Nothing was getting in the way of their big day.
Jamie paused at the top of the aisle and gazed at Caiden.
Caiden smiled. “Wow,” he said under his breath.
“Hi,” she waved quietly.
As Jamie walked down, Travis sat next to Annabelle. “You know, if you had told me you needed money for a dress, I would’ve happily bought you one darling!”
“It’s that silly wedding prom dad. Don’t worry, I know Jamie will understand.”
“She did the same thing at Jarrett’s wedding after all. I promise, it’s not a big deal.”
Travis stared at Annabelle. “Are you sure?” he said.
As Travis and Annabelle continued their chat, Jamie stood next to Caiden. “Are you ready Caiden?” she said.
“I was born ready,” he said gazing at her.
“A Lothario actually wanting a wedding! Who would’ve thunk it,” Don thought as he watched. Chloe smiled. “I’m so going to wreak havoc on these two one day,” she whispered under her breath.
As they prepared to say their vows, the knight sat down protecting the aisle.
“No way am I letting anyone get in the way of these two loverbirds,” he thought.
Another knight sat behind Chloe ensuring that she wouldn’t be up to any of her usual tricks either.
“Jamie. To say it’s been a long and unorthodox path to get us here would be an understatement.”
“There may have been a time in our lives where we didn’t know each other. But I don’t think there was ever a time in this universe that our paths weren’t unequivocally linked.”
“Truthfully, Jamie I think this world always knew that you and I were meant for each other and every moment we experienced, together and apart, was designed to get us here.”
“I mean, just look at this gorgeous woman you guys. Am I the luckiest man alive or what? Only fate could make such a knockout fall in love with me,” Caiden said breaking from his speech.
“Caiden,” Jamie said as she grinned from ear to ear, blushing.
Don started to cry. “Oh that’s so sweet!” he said.
Chloe didn’t see it that way at all.
“Jamie. You’re the air I breathe. The thoughts that encapsulate my mind. The love that keeps me warm at night. You’re the woman that’s captured not only my heart, but my soul. When I think of my life and my future, I only think of you.”
Don was a blubbering mess. “Oh who needs planewreck weddings when you have beautiful moments like this?!”
Travis held his hand to his heart, beaming. “That’s my hopeless romantic son.”
“When I was younger, I thought my adventures were all out there somewhere. But right here, with you, is my greatest adventure. You’re the only place I ever want to be. I love you Jamie.”
“Oh give me a break!” Chloe sighed. “Is it over yet?”
Travitha gasped. “No…Jamie still has to say her vows,” she whispered.
“What!?! There’s more of this ushy gushy stuff?” Chloe said stunned.
Travitha didn’t let Chloe’s foul mood bother her though. She beamed as she waited for Jamie’s vows. Are you as excited as Travitha for Jamie’s vows?

Synopsis

Caiden shares his wedding vows with Jamie.

Did You Know?

  • I built the location a long time ago, long before the Scott family existed. I completely forgot that the Chalet Gardens always has knights roaming the lot. At first I saw them and was worried they would ruin the aesthetic of the wedding but I quickly realized it seemed fitting that Caiden would plan a wedding at a location surrounded by knights! After everything they’ve been through, they need the protection after all.
  • I had never tested this location with Wedding Stories which was a big mistake. The seats were in awkward locations and during the ceremony, Jarrett and Casey switched to sitting on the ground while Hannah stood in front of them blocking the view.
  • I tried to get Travitha to walk down the aisle as the flower girl but the game glitched and didn’t let it happen, unfortunately.
  • The title of this episode, “My Heart is With You”, is a reference to what Caiden said when he confessed his love for Jamie while in Strangerville.
  • I was really off my game and forgot to change everyone’s outfits for the ceremony. Hannah was still dressed in her Batuu formal from Jarrett’s wedding, Don had his favorite jacket on from his wedding to Hannah, and Annabelle was dressed for her wedding themed prom. Chloe for some reason didn’t show up in her formal clothes, but that honestly seems fitting considering she wouldn’t care!
