Rehearsing Bad Attitudes
“A— a member?”
“Yeah. All you need to do is meet Grim,” the ghost said.
Carter jumped into the bed terrified. “No! Never!” he yelled.
“Fine kid. Your choice. Just sleep on it. But if you won’t join our band… just know, you’ll no longer be welcome inside my house,” he smiled.
The next morning, Carter headed outside into the rain. “I’m living on the edge,” he sang.
“May start living in a shed.”
“But I’m living fearless baby.”
“No no no. No ghost is gonna stop me.”
“And I’ll sing in the rain, all the llama day. Not gonna let you haunt me.”
He kept strumming trying to avoid going inside. It is getting awfully wet and cold out here though, he thought.
The evening had arrived for Jamie and Caiden’s rehearsal dinner.
“Wow you guys! This is beautiful!” Tomi said as she gazed around the room.
Caiden and Jamie were far too caught up in the moment to notice that anyone else had arrived though.
“Bro! I can’t believe you’re getting hitched,” Casey said.
“Please tell me Jamie has some hot bridesmaids I can hook up with. Unless, of course, Leila is one of them.”
“Really? I thought she may be here…because she’s still your best friend. She is isn’t she?”
“Not really. Look, I know she hurt you and you’re still dwelling on what happened but this is my night with Jamie and I really don’t want to talk about Leila. Can you maybe try to just have some fun?”
Casey smiled through his teeth. “Sure. ‘Fun’. I’ll try that.”
Casey headed onto the dance floor and tried to let loose and do the cow poke. “See? I’m having fun!”
“Join me, Jarrett! Let’s cow poke together!” Casey said. Jarrett closed his eyes trying not to watch. “I think I’m good!”
Just then, Jamie turned around and spotted Chloe. “What are YOU doing here, Chloe?! You weren’t invited.”
“Oh please. Like this event is exclusive?” she rolled her eyes. “Look at this weirdo next to me. Dude has some unnatural looking hair and is wearing jeans.”
“That is my future brother-in-law you’re insulting. You, on the other hand, are nobody to me.”
“Okay, fine! I’ll wave goodbye and be on my merry way then,” she casually said as she schemed her next move.
“I’ll just say goodbye to little Travitha first,” she whispered to herself.
“Oh Travitha, darling. Are you excited for your sister’s big day?”
“I am so excited! Caiden is the best! I finally have a family.”
“Oh honey…that’s wonderful. But don’t you ever wish that your mother was here?” Is Chloe about to spill Caiden and Jamie’s big secret? Keep following to find out.

Synopsis

The family gathers for Caiden and Jamie’s rehearsal dinner; Chloe party crashes.

Did You Know?

  • The venue for the rehearsal dinner was originally built for Tomi and Jarrett until I decided to build the more playful Stairway to Heaven venue instead.
  • As always, Casey was in another one of his moods. I swear, redeeming this sim should be an official Sims 4 Challenge because it feels nearly impossible sometimes.
  • I originally wrote the entire scene of Casey, Jamie, and Caiden differently. Casey was a lot jerkier and insensitive in the original version of the scene. This was him tamed! The original edit of this scene can be read by my Tier 4+ Patrons.
