Caiden headed to the jungle for his first adventure with Fortitude. “Okay, Forty. We’ve gotta make this quick. Find the treasure and get home. You’ve got that?”
The two of them headed off down the bridge.
As the darkness overwhelmed them, Caiden felt like something was off.
“I don’t know why I’m so nervous,” he said.
“I just want to find the perfect treasure. Jamie deserves her dream wedding. She’s had so much trauma at every milestone of her life. This needs to be perfect for her.”
“Alright, Forty! We’re here!” he said as he reached the vine covered gate.
“I haven’t spent all of my time working out and getting fit for nothing! We’re going in!”
Fortitude stood by as Caiden quickly removed the vines.
“You wait here, okay? I want to make sure you’re safe.”
Caiden wandered through and found the first treasure chest of the mission. “Wow Forty! It’s another relic! I wonder what this one will do.”
As he headed to the next part of the mission, a fire engulfed him.
“Well that’s not what you want.”
He smiled. “I know just the thing to fix this!”
As he continued on the mission, he realized it was going just as well as he had hoped!
“One last gate…” he thought as he offered the entrance a relic.
When Caiden arrived at the treasure chest, he opened it and discovered his biggest score yet.
He had found the ultimate treasure! Now he truly could give Jamie the wedding of her dreams.
As he pulled out his phone to head home, Hannah called. “I miss you Caiden. When will I see you again?” she said. Caiden smiled. “My rehearsal dinner is tomorrow night. Did you forget? I’ll see you then, mom!”
When Caiden returned home, he went straight to his excavation table to put together the newest relic he discovered.
“Woah… I wonder what this thing does,” he thought as he looked at it.
He took out the refined fire opal that he also found and placed it inside.
“Whatever this thing does… I better keep it safe,” he thought before putting it downstairs inside the cellar.
Back at Carter’s haunted cabin, Carter and Aaron were trying to have band practice.
“Why are you interrupting our songs, man? You’re freaking me out!” Aaron yelled. “I can’t work under this kind of pressure!”
“It’s like your haunting — no. Not haunting! Judging. Yeah, you’re judging every lyric.”
“They’re bad man,” the ghost said. “There‘s no other way to put it. In fact, if I wasn’t already dead, I would be from your song.”
“I’m gonna send you straight to the beyond!” Aaron yelled. Carter put out his hands. “Can everyone just try to calm down please?”
“We’ll figure this out Aaron, I promise,” he said. Aaron frowned. “Until you get this ghost out of here, I’m done. This band is over.”
As Aaron left, the ghost stared at Carter. “You didn’t need him for your band. Trust me. You moved in here and I can help you.”
“Well… me and my friend here. He’s a great singer. You should give him a chance,” he said as another ghost appeared.
“I really don’t want to have a ghost band.”
“Well you should’ve thought of that before moving into my home. Now… should I make you a member of our band?” That doesn’t sound promising… does it? Keep following to find out what happens next.
Caiden heads out for his last treasure hunt before the wedding; Carter tries to host band practice in his haunted cabin.
Did You Know?
I purchased Horse Ranch for exactly two reasons: the Cindy Sour Bee story (that glitch was just too good to pass up!) and to make Caiden Scott look like Indiana Jones
I’ve never taken a sim on so many missions to the jungle. On this journey, I learned that the emotion fruits could be used for various traps and the relics could be offered to pass the traps. I loved getting to see the temple become more challenging over time.
I specifically researched the relic parts and the gem Caiden put together. Why? That’s a story for another time.
