When they arrived home, Jarrett was jealous of his new sibling.
They moved the bassinet upstairs…
And took turns during the night shift.
They next morning, Hannah worked hard to learn her lines.
And Jarrett tried to bond with Caiden.
Hannah arrived on set ready to go! She was living the dream!
Even the makeup artist was friendlier this time!
She tried to act as professional as possible.
And casually chatted with her costar.
She rehearsed quite a bit…and made it obvious how much a new actor overacts vs the seasoned actor calmly rehearsing behind her.
Of course, she still couldn’t help but totally fan girl over Judith and snap pictures. Baby steps.
The day was a success and she couldn’t believe the giant paycheck she received!
After bringing home over $7,000 for her gig, they added a small bedroom to the house, and a master bathroom. It’s a bit tight but this should be good enough to fit the four of us, Hannah thought to herself.
But Travis had other ideas.
While Travis was at work, Summer stopped by – hoping he’d be home, not Hannah.
Hannah, naive as always, was happy to see her friend!
And suddenly she had an idea! She would set Summer up with someone so they could all double date!
She told Summer her idea and Summer wasn’t thrilled. “I guess…” she said. But the second Travis returned home from work, Summer left.
Travis told Hannah he wanted another baby and then went off to try!
Afterwards, his phone rang. It was Summer inviting him to a party at the ruins! “I think she’s been feeling really alone lately. I feel bad. I should probably spend some time with her,” Travis whispered. Hannah agreed. “Sure! Sounds great!”, he said on the phone.
Of course, Travis brought Hannah along and Summer was not pleased. She decided to distract herself with push-ups.
Travis and Hannah looked around – looks like it’s not much of a party. There’s no one here.
Summer talked to Travis, feeling bitter that he brought Hannah. With an audition the next day, Hannah said goodnight and headed home. Summer knew this was her chance.
But was really holding a grudge deep down about him bringing his wife.
Summer turned and smiled at him. “Alone at last,” she said.
“So what do you want to do?” Summer said.
“I don’t know… it looks like there’s not much happening here, and I’ve got work tomorrow so I should probably head home soon too.”
“Or we could get into our underwear and jump into the notorious woohoo bush over there…” she half joked. Travis put his hand on his head as his cheeks flushed.
“What on earth are you talking about?” He said.
He suddenly felt super uncomfortable. Was Summer hitting on him?!?, Travis thought. That didn’t come out as good as it sounded in my head, Summer thought to herself.
I need that rocketship again, Travis thought.
“Look Travis, I know we’ve been best friends for a long time… but sometimes… I think this could be something more.”
“Huh?!?” He said, stunned.
He waved his arms at her. They were clearly not on the same page. “I’m in love with you, Travis,” she said, spreading her arms in a giant declaration.
He glared at her as he realized she was serious.
“Summer what are you thinking?! I’m married.” Summer bit her finger. “Maybe I shouldn’t have brought this up.”
“You think?!?” He said.
Summer realized she just messed up their friendship.
She was sad he didn’t feel the same way. Maybe he really was as in love with Hannah as he said.
Travis looked at Summer. “Summer, I think you’re just really lonely right now. But you need to respect my marriage to Hannah. I love her and that’s never going to change… but you’ll always be my friend. I care about you… but not like that.”
He tried to salvage their friendship but felt so uncomfortable.
“I have to get home. We’re still friends though, okay?” He said, running off leaving Summer in the rain.
