Jamie sat down in the living room to wait for Travitha. “Are you ready to go?” she asked as Chloe walked through the room naked.
Jamie decided to take Travitha volunteering and an elderly care facility. Maybe she’ll learn a thing or two about compassion while she’s there, she hoped.
As they left, Don sat at the table. “I’m such a great dad,” he thought to himself. “My kids are best friends and it’s all because of me!”
While volunteering, Travitha tried to help an elderly sim but accidentally destroyed the rose bush in the process. She didn’t want to get in trouble so she tried to cover it up.
Unfortunately, they caught her and she got in trouble.
When they returned home, Jamie smiled at Travitha. “You did great tonight,” she said. “Really?” Travitha beamed expecting to get in trouble.
“Eh, who needs another rose bush anyways? You were helping that lady water the plants. If that bush was so darn special, she should’ve done it herself. She can’t expect a kid to know how much water a plant needs.”
“It was a little funny the way she screamed when you poured just a little too much,” Jamie chuckled. Travitha smiled. She wouldn’t say it, but she didn’t want this night with her sister to end. “Let’s get you tucked in to bed,” Jamie said.
“Really? You’re coming with me?” Travitha said, her face glowing.
Travitha crawled into bed and Jamie leaned over to tuck her in.
“Try to have some sweet dreams tonight, Travitha. Your nightmares are over,” she said giving her a kiss on the head.
As Travitha dosed off to sleep, she found herself smiling. Hanging out with Jamie actually wasn’t so bad after all, she thought.
Jamie headed into the kitchen to make herself dinner when she stopped short at the window.
Chloe looked at Jamie as she stood naked outside. “What? It’s nothing you haven’t seen before,” she thought with a frown.
Jamie sat down at the table next to Don. “Dad, we need to talk about Chloe,” she said as he stared at his phone.
Don quickly put his phone away. “Jamie, I don’t think my woohoo life is any of your business.”
“Really?” Jamie stared at him. “She parades around the house naked and I swear she’s doing price evaluations on our furniture. Not to mention, she’s an escaped ex-con.”
“And?! You don’t think I deserve something for me? For all of my hard work?! I give you and your sister a house, a bed, food… and totally hands off parenting! I let you all do whatever you want and this is the thanks I get?”
Jamie’s mouth was stuffed with food. Sooo… he thinks hands off parenting is a good thing? she thought.
“Dad, Travitha needs a parent.”
“Not this freak show,” she said taking another bite as Chloe walked behind them naked again.
“No Jamie. I’m not letting Chloe go anywhere. You and your sister will just have to deal.”
“I was trapped in that basement for so long! You don’t think I deserve to make up for all the woohoo I missed?”
“Ewww dad. Gross. Really?”
As Jamie got up from the chair, Don looked at her. “This discussion is over, Jamie.”
“Of course it is. I don’t know what I was thinking that you might actually step up one of these days and act like a father.”
She turned around to see Chloe standing in the kitchen, fully clothed.
“Woah! You’re not naked!” she said shocked.
“See what you’ve done?!” Don glared furious that Chloe was wearing clothes.
As Jamie washed her plate, she knew it was time. She had to find that magic cake.
She pulled out her phone. “Caiden, will you meet at Summer’s old house in the morning?” she said.
