“I think I have to raise her,” she paused. “I have to be her guardian. She’s just a kid and she’s so sad… I mean really sad. All she’s ever known is being raised by evil. But I believe there has to be good in her. She’s never understood what love is and she never will if she continues growing up in that house.”
“Jamie. You can’t be her caregiver. You’re a teenager still. You won’t be able to influence her or help her when she has a dilemma or anything,” Caiden said as his face turned serious.
“I know,” she said looking at him.
“And that’s why… I think I need to find the magic cake.”
“The magic cake? Why?”
“Caiden, if I age myself up, I can not only get control of my life back but I can take Travitha away from this whole nightmare.”
“Jamie. Do you know what you’re saying? You already lost your childhood. I don’t want you to lose your teen weeks too.”
“Caiden. My teen life… it’s in Travitha’s hands right now anyways. If she dies or if she gets neglected, I could lose my teen weeks anyways.”
“And I don’t want to lose you,” she looked at him. “And I can’t let Travitha be destroyed by Don and Chloe either. I couldn’t live with myself knowing that my teen years were more important than her future.”
“Jamie,” Caiden said as his lips started to turn into a slight smile. “You have the most beautiful heart. Travitha is so lucky to have you as a big sister.”
“So what’s the plan?”
“I haven’t gotten that far,” she shrugged.
“I guess we’ll have to figure out how to get our hands on a magic cake?”
She stared up at the abandoned loft. “I’m going to make a good life for you Travitha. I promise,” she thought.
Back at Don’s house, the rain was pouring down.
Chloe had slipped in a mud puddle and she was crying about her lingerie getting dirty.
“It’s ruined! What am I going to do now?! Come help me up, Don!”
When Don came over, he slipped in the mud too. “Forget it, clearly you’re no help,” Chloe said. “I guess I’ll just get rid of my lingerie.”
“Ah! My back!” Don yelped.
“Your back better not mess with our woohoo plans,” she frowned.
“No baby. No mud puddle is going to stop me,” he grumbled lying on the ground.
“I’ll be fine.”
“See?” he said grabbing her.
“Excuse me, sir. Did you know that woman is naked?” a local vendor wandering by the home said.
“Put on some clothes lady!”
She cocked an eyebrow looking at Don. “Why is that man so familiar…” she wondered as she reflected on her youth.
Don and Chloe continued to ignore the woman as he dipped Chloe into a passionate kiss.
“Gross!” she lamented.
“Hey! Did you use to frequent the Discotheque in Windenburg?!” she shouted out to Don.
Don straightened up and smiled as Chloe put her clothes on. “That was my woohoo spot!” he smiled with fond memories, responding to the lady.
Off to the side, Travitha threw paint on the ground. I don’t think they’ve even noticed I’m here, she thought.
Don and Chloe headed into the bedroom for some more woohoo.
When suddenly, an unexpected visitor popped in. Well this is unexpected… who is it? Keep following.
Jamie tells Caiden her plan for Travitha; Chloe and Don end up in the mud.
Did You Know?
The scenes of Chloe and Don took place later in my gameplay but I moved them up to create a better flow in the story
While Sims can be aged up any time using the cake, I never age up my sims prematurely unless it’s part of the story arc (like the magic cake). I had to ensure I kept with this rule of mine for Jamie’s story. With that said, the magic cake was only created by Summer which begs the question…how will Jamie find another one?
I was shocked to see Summer appear at Don’s home. Her urn is in Caiden’s inventory. I had no idea a ghost could first appear on any lot other than the one their urn was located on.
