“Skip the game, lover. You know you’d much rather play with me,” Chloe flirted.
“Honestly Chloe, our last woohoo was a bit of a letdown. Plus it’s the last game of the season. I can’t miss it,” he said.
“Fine. But if you change your mind…”
“I’ll be outside…showering for the neighbors.”
“You see what you left me with?!”
Jamie looked at her somberly. “I’m so sorry Travitha. I should never have left you alone with them in this house.”
“Here’s an idea. Why don’t you come with me next time? Or not even just next time. Let’s go out right now, just you and me!”
Unfortunately, Travitha did not want to go anywhere with Jamie either.
“Yeah right,” she glared.
“Arghhh! I hate this place! I hate all of you!”
Don suddenly started clapping. “Yeah!! That’s awesome! Go team!”
“What the **** Don?! Really? Your timing is impeccable, you know that?”
“Jamie! You should’ve seen that move. My team is going to win!”
“See? All Daddy cares about is his stupid game… and Chloe.”
“And all you care about is your stupid boyfriend.”
“That’s not true Travitha…”
“And all my Mommy ever cared about was going into the basement for hours and days. She’d leave me with one stupid plate of peas and tell me that was my meal until she came back upstairs… however many days that would be. I couldn’t even crawl down the ladder to get her. She was just gone. Everyone is always just gone.”
Jamie sat straight in her chair. Her heart broke for Travitha. She didn’t know what to say but she knew she had to figure out some way to help her.
She stood up and pulled out her phone. She had to talk to Caiden.
Caiden texted Jamie back, asking her to meet him at an old abandoned loft downtown.
“Jamie! What do you think? One day, you and me. We move into this loft and fix it up real nice. I know you’re not a young adult yet… but this could be our future.”
“Caiden… we need to talk.”
“Of course, Jamie. What’s wrong?” he said concerned.
“Did you know that Summer left Travitha without food for days when she was a toddler?! She just left her while she spent all of her time in her lair.”
“I wish I could say I’m surprised.”
“She doesn’t trust anyone, Caiden.”
“And meanwhile, Don is watching the game and Chloe is walking around the house naked.”
“I didn’t even know sims could do that around kids,” he said.
“Apparently there’s an exception if they’re insane,” Jamie exclaimed. “Of course there is,” Caiden laughed in disbelief.
“I can’t let her be raised by Don and Chloe… I won’t. Caiden, If Don ever dies… Chloe would become her mom.” How will Jamie help Travitha? Keep following.
