As Caiden stepped down from the platform, he saw Leila. “Look at us! Can you believe we’re young adults?!”
She hugged him. “I can’t. Time feels like it’s moving so fast now,” she said.
Caiden sat down. “So where are you living now? Are you starting university?”
“I’m starting Brichester soon but actually, I was thinking about living off campus in an apartment. There’s just so many keg parties and distractions there.”
“Hey here’s an idea,” she said. “We should live together! Roomies in the city!”
She cocked her head. “What do you think?”
Casey stood behind her listening. “She wants to live with my brother?” he thought worried.
“Leila, I’m just not sure that’s the best idea,” he said as Carter listened.
“You think?!” he thought to himself.
“No, Caiden! It would be great. We could explore San Myshuno together and you can teach me how to stay up all night. I know you’ve somehow got that down,” she said giving him two thumbs up.
“Seriously?” he thought.
“Trust me, it will be awesome,” she smiled.
“I’m not so sure Jamie would see it that way,” Caiden said.
“Jamie? Oh Caiden. I hope you didn’t get the wrong idea. I know there’s nothing sexual between us,” she said stepping the conversation back. Casey stood behind them ready to chime in but he couldn’t find the words.
“Yeah — no. I still just don’t think it’s a great idea. Sorry Leila,” he shrugged.
“Okay. Just tell me you’ll think about it,” she smiled.
Casey played with his pinky finger. “Maybe I should tell her about the engagement ring I have ready for when I age up?” he thought.
Back at Don’s house, he was disappointed with his and Chloe’s latest woohoo.
Don yawned as he got out of bed. That actually bored me to tears, he thought.
Home from the party, Jamie grabbed herself a late night snack.
As she walked to the table, Chloe and Don appeared in the living room making out in their underwear.
“I really need to get out of this house,” she thought.
As she sat down, Travitha glared at her.
“I can’t believe you say you care about me but you left me here ALONE for hours, Jamie,” she yelled. “This plate has been sitting out here since breakfast. Daddy has been too busy woohooing to make me anything else,” Travitha said furiously.
Jamie grimaced. “Would Don ever step up and act like a father?” She thought.
“I’m sorry that woohoo wasn’t up to my usual standards. You’ve really been wearing me out,” Chloe said. “Let’s try again. I’m sure this time, it will be memorable.”
Chloe and Don headed back to the bedroom for another round of woohoo.
“Was that more to your satisfaction?” Chloe said as Don wandered out of the room in a daze.
“Is it hot in here?” he said as he stepped into the living room.
“I feel like I can’t breathe.”
“Oh my gosh,” he said dropping to his knees.

From the moment Leila cheated on Caiden with Casey, I had this idea in my head that one day they would all be roommates.
I changed ideas along the way and planned for Caiden and Leila to be roommates as young adults, just to drive Casey crazy. I even built an apartment for them! However, I ultimately decided to take the story in a different direction.
