Season 12 Episode 5 Chapter 226
Frustrated, the teacher called them all back to a second anatomy class for the day. The principal waved at Carter. “Thanks to you Carter, Mr. Snargleflaggle feels you all need a second round of class today to really understand the apple theory.”
Caiden banged the table. “Seriously Carter?! How could you not understand the apple theory?” he chuckled as he pretended to be furious.
Principal Prescott then moved on to another student. “You too, Mister! Don’t think I didn’t see you rolling your eyes about this class.”
“If you don’t take proper notes this time, you’re going to be expelled. You’ve got that?”
Annabelle sat down at her desk next to Dawson Moon.
“Hey… remember me? The girl you asked to prom and then stood up?” she smiled.
“Sorry about that Annabelle. My parents told me I couldn’t go at the last minute. I wanted to text you but they took away my phone.”
“Oh really? I’m so sorry to hear that, Dawson!”
Caiden sighed. “How does she believe every single lie she’s told?!” he thought. If that story were true, wouldn’t he have told Annabelle the next day at school instead of weeks later?!
Dawson shrugged. “You know, it happens. I snuck out the window a few times too many and I just got unlucky.”
“Wow, you sound like such a rebel!” Annabelle smiled. “Oh yeah, totally. I got caught trying to sell my dad’s guitar at the lounge for a bubble blower.”
Oh for goodness sakes, Caiden sighed.
Just then Caiden’s phone buzzed. Leila was convinced she found an engagement ring in Casey’s bag. He quickly texted her back. “Leila, look, I know we’re trying to be friends again but this is really none of my business. You should decide this for yourself.”
Leila was furious. Make a decision on her own?!! That sounded like a horrible idea. “Thanks for nothing, Caiden Scott,” she said.
As Caiden stood up, Annabelle approached him. “Hey…can we talk?” she said. At the same time, Principal Prescott was approaching Dawson. “Dawson! I need to discuss your dad’s concert with you,” she said. “Talk to the hand, Prescott. I ain’t got no tickets,” he said.
Overhearing Dawson’s rude response to the principal, she looked at Caiden. “I think you may have been right. I may not be the best judge of character,” she said.
Caiden smiled in relief. Was his sister finally coming around?!
“Look, I was talking to Dawson… and he gave me this whole song and dance about prom night and at first…I believed him.”
“But look how rude he’s being now. Maybe not every sim… has goodness in them.”
“Annabelle, I wish every sim was as good, and sweet, and kind as you are. But you’re right. Not every sim is.”
As Caiden and Annabelle continued their heart to heart, Principal Prescott sat next to Dawson and pleaded. “What can I do to get those tickets?! Please! I’ll do anything!” Dawson looked at her. “Give me an A, and I’ll SEE what I can do,” he said pointedly. “No guarantees though.”
“I think it’s time I take a step back from Iggy,” she said as Caiden smiled.
“Annabelle, you have no idea how relieved I am to hear you say that,” he said while hugging her. “I am so proud of you.”
“I’ve missed you Caiden,” she said hugging him back. “I’ve always been here, and I always will be,” he said.
Out in the hallway, a student started talking to Carter. “Hey Carter!” she said with a smile.
He looked at her frozen. “Hey…you.” he responded confused. Do I know her? he thought to himself.
“I was hoping I could see your band play some time. I hear you’re absolutely slaying it.”
Carter laughed. “Where did you hear that? It must be some alternate reality where you can actually form a band.”
“But I sometimes play at the Bubbles cafe alone if you ever want to check it out,” he said. She waved, “Whoops! Gotta go!”
“Are you gonna watch me play sometime or…”
He stood there with his arms out while she walked off without saying another word.
“What is up with all of these weirdos?” he sighed. Caiden’s about to become a young adult. Are you excited for his birthday? Keep following.

Synopsis

Caiden goes to his last class of the day where he sees Annabelle talking to Dawson Moon, leading Annabelle to have a realization; Carter meets another teen at school.

Did You Know?

  • Dawson Moon reprises his role. He was last seen asking Annabelle to prom back in Season 8. He then never appeared at prom.
  • While Leila is a young adult, Casey is still a teenager. I was almost tempted to have Caiden tell Leila to “say yes” just to see what would happen with that glitch! However, it didn’t seem in character.
  • I was trying to have Carter make a friend but the sim just walked off mid-conversation.
