Season 12 Episode 4 Chapter 225
A few minutes later, Annabelle joined them as they all sat down to eat breakfast — or in Caiden’s case, leftover cheesy eyeballs.
Annabelle glared at Caiden as she finished her cereal. “Look Caiden, whatever your problem is with Iggy— you had no right to bring Casey into it.”
Caiden frowned. “Annabelle! I didn’t! Ignacio was trying to make a move on Leila last night. That’s the truth. I know you don’t want to hear it, but that’s what happened.”
“I don’t believe you,” she glared.
Casey sat there with his lips pressed together. He knew whatever he said, she wouldn’t believe him either, so what was the point?
“I’m texting him right now,” Annabelle said. “And I know you’re going to be wrong.”
“See! He says Casey just flipped out because he was making small talk with Leila.”
“Of course he said that! He’s a pathological liar, Annabelle!”
“He’s playing you and he’s mistreating you,” Caiden exclaimed as Casey walked by.
“But he loves me… he wouldn’t — he wouldn’t do that to me,” she said as the worry began to sink in. She knew deep down he was treating her badly but she couldn’t let go.
“Look Annabelle. I’m going to be aging up and moving out soon and you need to decide what kind of sims you want in your life. If you truly don’t believe me, and you are so certain that Iggy is the guy for you, then I’ll stay out of your life. For good. You’ll never have to call me or talk to me again.”
Annabelle looked down somberly. “I— I don’t know Caiden. I don’t…know,” her words drifted. “Did he really flirt with Leila?” she said. Caiden looked at her, “I would never lie to you, Annabelle.”
When Annabelle arrived at school, she tracked down Carter in the gym. “Carter, you’re the only brother I feel like I can talk to anymore that’s impartial… can I ask you a question?” Annabelle said. Carter looked at her. “Sure, go ahead,” he replied.
“Do you think everyone is just overreacting about Iggy? I mean, you’re quirky. Not everyone gets you and that’s okay, right? I feel like people just don’t get him. Everyone is saying he flirted with Leila at the wedding but maybe he was just being nice to her,” she said.
Carter looked at her. “Annabelle, if Caiden and Casey both are telling you that, you know you can believe them. They would never lie to you. And for the record, you can do better. Much better,” he said.
“Maybe you’re right,” she shrugged as Casey walked in. “Carter, we’ve got a really important anatomy class today. You don’t want to miss it,” he said.
In the classroom, Caiden was working hard, as usual as he took a picture of himself to send to Jamie.
“Last day of school! Isn’t it amazing they never kicked me out?” he jokingly texted to her.
“Maybe I should listen just this once. It is the last day after all,” he thought.
“Class, you don’t seem to be getting it. If you stack cubes and bend them, you can mimic the movement of your body. Look at the shape of an apple for instance: take away the stem and the fruit bowl, and you’ve basically got a rolling head!”
“Scratch that thought. I had it right the first time not paying attention to these classes,” he thought.
He looked up at the clock. Only a few hours to go and I’m out of this place for good!
He took out his pen and started writing a guest list for his birthday party instead.
Meanwhile, Casey was diligently taking notes with questions alongside it to ask the teacher after class. “Apple = Rolling Head. But how much should one head roll? Does it attach to the boxes?” Annabelle sat beside him smiling. “Look how bendy those boxes are! That seems so fun!” she thought staring at the teacher’s drawings. Carter sat in the back writing song lyrics: “Don’t be an apple head, when you get out of bed. Keep your head on straight, and then follow your fate.”
At lunchtime, Carter headed to the cafeteria for some sliders.
Suddenly, his anatomy teacher sat down beside him. “Carter, you left your notebook in class and I saw that all you’ve been doing is writing song lyrics. You need to be paying attention. You clearly don’t understand the similarities between an apple and a sims head.”
“Did you not read my song? It’s basically my class notes… just as lyrics.”
Suddenly Carter got a weird vibe as his teacher glared at him.
“Look, I appreciate your candor, but I’m good,” he said getting up.
“Don’t walk away from me Carter. I haven’t gotten to the part where I discuss slicing the apples open.”
Carter side eyed his teacher. “Didn’t you just say that apples were like sim heads?”
“Of course! And it’s important to know how they work on the inside. The individual seeds of knowledge within each apple.”
Carter looked at him with his thumb down. “Look man, I just don’t see apples as heads and I’m really not down with the idea of slicing them open if that’s what you think they are.”
“Argghhh! Why do you students not understand basic anatomy?!?” he growled. These are some weird teachers… and the school day isn’t even over! What will happen next?
