And when little Jarrett came in to wake them, Hannah didn’t even blink at the thought of helping. She got up right away and asked Jarrett what he needed.
Travis watched happily. Nothing filled his heart with more joy than to watch Hannah and Jarrett together.
They got up to eat breakfast and Travis told Summer the good news. She pulled him in for a hug and congratulated him. “I am so happy for you Travis. You finally got the girl,” she said.
Hannah left to head home and get ready for work. She was finally happy.
When she arrived home, she stood in the rain taking it all in. Could her day get any better than this?
She went to work and suddenly she was faced with a serious choice. She had uncovered a government plot lead by Bjorn to spy on top ranking officials in other nations. She had no choice but to leak the illicit documents, even though she knew the consequences would cost her her job.
She was instantly fired and got home from work, crying.
Hannah pulled out her phone to call the one person she could think of: Travis.
But he didn’t answer because he was already on his way to her house.
Travis arrived and knocked on the door.
“Travis, I don’t know what to do. I never felt it was the right job for me, but it was a job.”
Travis pulled out his tablet, and tried to find her a new job. As he asked her what she wanted, she realized there was truly only one thing her heart has ever desired.
She wanted to start a family.
“Hannah, you know I’d love nothing more than to start a family with you. We will figure everything out together,” Travis said.
That night, together, they read Jarrett a bedtime story.
After Jarrett was asleep, Hannah talked to Travis about their money situation. “I don’t think we’ll be able to afford this house anymore. The prices in Brindleton Bay just keep going up. I don’t know where we’re going to live.”
That night, they all went to sleep for their final night in Hannah’s house.
When they woke up the next morning, it was time to say goodbye to Hannah’s house and her old life.
They searched from house to house and realized their best most affordable option was to buy a small plot of land, and build a tiny home.
They were able to find a beautiful land plot in Taratosa that fit their budget.
It wasn’t a big home but it was peaceful and just enough space for the three of them (and Buttercup!).
Hannah worried that the one bedroom with an outhouse home would be too small for them to grow a family.
But Travis reassured her that as long as they were together, everything would be okay.
After all, all they needed to be happy was each other.
