how to create the best clubs in Sims 4 Get Together

What is the best way to use the Sims 4 Get Together club system? On the surface, it may seem like the system is just there to create clubs for your sims to mingle with like minded sims and build skills together. However, there is so much more to it than that!

I’m here to help you make the most of the club system and use it to the best of your advantage.

1. Using Sims 4 Get Together Clubs to Create More Active Lots

Are you used to sending your sims to a lot only to find that there are barely any sims there? You can rectify this, without any mods, by using the club system!

In my gameplay, I’ve created multiple clubs with a specific lot as their base. When my sim visits, numerous clubs have begun with sims filling out the lot!

Here are two of my favorite ways I’ve utilized this feature to create more active lots:

Create an Office/Club Center

First, build a multistory complex with different rooms for various groups. The sky is the limit! These rooms can be dedicated to arts and crafts, cooking, robot building, etc. Any skill building activity is fair game! Then, go into any sim (or multiple sims) household of your choice and create clubs for each of these rooms. When your sim visits the lot, there will be multiple groups there working on their skills in the specific rooms!

Create a Movie Theater

Build a lounge or bar with a movie theater! Use the platforms to create stadium seating, set up a popcorn machine in the corner, and place a large TV on the wall. Then, go into a random sim’s household and create a movie club! Set the club location as the new theater you created with the club’s activity being to watch movies! Now, when you send your sim to the theater, the club will also appear and there will always be a group of sims to watch with! Alternatively, your sim could also start or join the club if they just love the movie experience.

2. Using Sims 4 Get Together Clubs to Create Concert Venues

Create a Celebrity Band and Concert Venue

Go into the household of a celebrity musician or comedian sim and create a club. Add other celebrities to the group and select the group’s attributes: whether it’s tell jokes at the microphone, sing, play instruments, etc. Set the location to a specific lounge (or all lounges if you prefer). If you’ve created a specific lounge venue, I suggest adding a roped door that only allows celebrities of a certain caliber to the stage area!

Now, when your sim visits these spots, the club will also appear on the lot and you’ll have celebrities playing gigs!

3. Using Clubs to Create a Boarding School

In my previous legacy family, I decided to send my sim’s child off to boarding school. First, I created a residential lot with bedrooms and classrooms, and then created a household “teacher”. Afterwards, I created some children to attend and collected a few from around the neighborhood.

I then set up multiple “classes” at the school using the club system. When I moved my sim’s child into the school, I had her join each of the clubs. After regular school, I would choose a different class each day. The different classes would vary and be designed to build specific skills. For example, when the “music class” began, all of the sims in the club (which was the children at the boarding school) would attend and play instruments for and hour or two. It was a great way to encourage skill building and also give my sim a chance to make friends!

4. Using Clubs to Create Frat and Sorority Houses in Get University

If you have The Sims 4 Discover University, you may have noticed that when making student housing you have the option to choose specific organizations to live there! Beyond those however, you can also choose clubs that you’ve made! I know I personally have sent my sims to a Frat house full of Spirit members only to find that they’re all elderly sims. It put a bit of a damper on my sim’s partying experience to say the least!

So instead, I created a frat club with young adults who liked to party and made the house specific to that club! The lot was then full of exactly the student body I wanted to surround my sims with!

5. Other Club Ideas That You May Not Have Thought Of

If you are just looking to create some interesting clubs full of activities for your sims, here’s some suggestions to get you started!

  • Brunch Club: Get your group together for drinks and food at their favorite brunch restaurant (requires Sims 4 Dine Out)
  • Cult Club: If you want your sim to join a cult, no judgment here! Whether your cult is only romantic with other members, has everyone dressed in robes and painting so you can sell their work for your own sim’s pocketbook, or gardening to maintain a field of complaints…the choice is yours!
  • After School Club: Have your sims meet up at each other’s house to work on homework, eat snacks, and hang out!
  • Bowling Club: Send your sims out to bowl and play arcade games at the local bowling alley.
  • Spa Retreat and Yoga Club: If your sim loves to relax with their friends, create a club just for them to head to the spa regularly, drink cocktails, and join a yoga class!
  • High Society Club: Create a club for only the wealthiest of sims. Assign the fanciest outfits and send them to the local country club to mingle and drink while they refuse to be nice to anyone outside of their club.

What ways have you used the club system? I hope you’ve enjoyed these tips and they help you expand your own gameplay experience!
