Rain dripped down the windows of the Asylum as the Warden wandered the halls.
“Locked…locked…locked…“ she said with a nod as she checked each of the cell doors. She turned her head as she heard a rattle on one of the handles.
“Go to sleep, Chloe. You can come out in the morning,” the Warden said. Chloe grimaced bitterly as she walked away from the door back to her bed.
The Warden headed down the stairs into her private bedroom. On the bed, Don Lothario was waiting for her.
“Hey Warden. Am I under arrest? Do you need to lock me up?” he said with a wink.
